Wanting diversity is celebrating your reptile-brain's innate racism. It's the act of othering...which is helpful when identifying friend or foe, to be sure. It's pure. But seeking it out? Honestly, it's really kind of demeaning when you think about it, to simply want people around because they're different. Like trying to set up your own little zoo for your own entertainment, complete with e-coli if you eat the filthy animal's food. I hope her child drowns in that river.
