She'll have a desk job asap. I know of a couple of ladies who worked for the local department, they were on patrol for a short time, before they got PR and Administration jobs with the department. The lady who had the PR job had expressed interest in going back to patrol, but wasn't given the opportunity. The males white knighted her until she ultimately left the department after serving as acting chief following the long time veteran chief's retirement.

One old rule of combat, grab them by the hair --- conversely don't have long hair when going into combat.
