Ethnic diversity as we know it wasn't even a issue as far as most people were concerned when North America was settled. Really until the immigration and reform act.

Different ethnicities would self segregate aside from trade and sometimes labor.

There are more idiot assholes in some ethnicities than in others.

Now it's fun when you think all the way back to the settling because "Caucasian" wasn't even a thing. English fought French. Dutch fought French and English. Spanish fought English and French. They considered each other different ethnic groups.

So really Caucasians didn't settle America. Anyone mad at Caucasians for it are just being racist.

Congratulations, you just restated the OP.

Dutch, English, French are subsets of Caucasian. They banded together in the face of Indian attacks unless there was outside political pressure, which is why the American nation (ethnicity) formed out of them. Whites have more in common with each other than they do with non-whites. Arguing otherwise is like claiming there's no such thing as black, because they all came from different tribes and spoke different languages.
