Lebanon is broken. The people are broken. Nothing good can become of what is, burdened by what has been. Hezbollah and Hamas not withstanding, rebuilding Lebanon could create financial opportunity for all and create political stability for the Lebanese by creating a viable economy. It is an interesting outside of the box proposal. I'm not well versed on the nuance within the official proposal <yet> but I'm sure it will create a lot of discussion of the possibilities of what could be done. I was also initially shocked at the proposal, but it appears to have merit as I currently understand it.
