Sometimes, I wish all of the companies I deal with would be hit by something like this that would force them all to drop Sales Force.

These companies exist only because orgs are unwilling to do something the "the rest of the industry is not doing".

I can't prove it, but I am convinced someone at Salesforce sprinkled some payola to the people in companies in charge of choosing Salesforce.

It happens all of the time. Every major vendor. It starts as a nice dinner or some tickets to a game. What you don't see on paper is what happens at the "box".

Side deals are made, accounts no one knows about...etc.

Sometimes people are caught. Not nearly often enough.
