From the post:

>The annual defense policy bill signed by President Joe Biden Monday evening allocates $3 billion to help telecom firms remove and replace insecure equipment in response to recent incursions by Chinese-linked hackers. The fiscal 2025 National Defense Authorization Act outlines Pentagon policy and military budget priorities for the year and also includes non-defense measures added as Congress wrapped up its work in December. The $895 billion spending blueprint passed the Senate and House with broad bipartisan support.

concur. There is no such thing as 'partners' with an adversarial nation, lest home government are actual stakeholders in said partnership.

One thing I learned about during an InfraGard shindig (in 2017/18) is the 'thousand talents program' and it's far more sinister than a simple internet search provides.... If the IC can brief on this, then why is it still in operation

China has become wealthy and advanced because of Western "partnership" that should have never happened in the first place.

It is not a coincidence that most of their "advanced tech" looks like it is directly stolen from western nations.. Because it is.
