That laptop is old as shit. I'm *NOT surprised it's compromised to hell and back. If you're still using one just throw it the fuck away. You can find recent refurbished Dells for like $200 that will blow the doors off this dinosaur.

Yeah, It's old but a lot of people buy them since they can put coreboot (is that what its still called?) on it and they are light and have a decent battery life if you can get one that is refurbed.
