China is cracking down on crypto because free money in a communist society is a nono.
The btc hash rate has fallen a lot and it’s dragging other stuff down with it, especially all the eth stuff.
This is what I'm speculating:
The Chinese were the first to adopt mass mining about 10 year ago. Did the CCP finally pull the plug on mining warehouses? Or did the IMF or even the UN step in and tell them to stop or slow down because the prices were increasing too fast and businesses and investment firms want to buy in at the lowest possible prices and then restart the whole mining & market skyrocketing the prices even higher to the point of average people not even being able to afford to buy in.
Yeah, why they’re doing it is a mystery. We just see the results here in the rest of the world.
