Is it happening? Is Michael Burry right about the mother of all crashes coming? Are the whales dumping coins because they know it's happening?
Or is this just the summer slump because all the whales are cashing out so they can have fun this summer?

I'm in the red for the first time in 9 months and getting really worried. The market grew surprisingly fast over 6 months and then tanked in 6 weeks.

China is cracking down on crypto because free money in a communist society is a nono.

The btc hash rate has fallen a lot and it’s dragging other stuff down with it, especially all the eth stuff.

This is what I'm speculating:
The Chinese were the first to adopt mass mining about 10 year ago. Did the CCP finally pull the plug on mining warehouses? Or did the IMF or even the UN step in and tell them to stop or slow down because the prices were increasing too fast and businesses and investment firms want to buy in at the lowest possible prices and then restart the whole mining & market skyrocketing the prices even higher to the point of average people not even being able to afford to buy in.

Welcome to crypto. Those four crazy people who kept holding when the last crash happened are still up now. Crypto is easily influenced.

They want everyone to be scared of it so when they tokenize the world no one will be set up to profit except them. Force the market down, scare off investors, tell all your buddies to buy, then switch to the new system.

The market has been tanking for years, but thanks to QE (money printing) it was hidden from view.

Hard to say. Whales sometimes like to dump and then rebuy and pump.

They do it in all markets. I think it’s why they’ve been doing “woke” shit with evergreen brands like Nike. They know there will be a shitshow after the announcement of some stupid SJW campaign, so they sell beforehand and buy back once it drops.
