The theft is part of a so-called giveaway scam, whereby con artists pose as celebrities or known figures in the crypto world. They promise to “multiply” the cryptocurrency that investors send — but pocket it instead.
The scammers did a service to the community. The retards who were scammed shouldn't be allowed to breed.
lol even Jootube was part of it by recommending the fake Elon BTC giveaway live stream on their front page for weeks.
A small-time youtuber (~80k subs) I watch had his channel taken over by litecoin scammers around a year ago. It took him months to get account back and youtube was promoting that retarded shit too. They're all over banning you for mentioning the jq, but sit on their ass if your account is taken over by scammers.
