I can only assume with this, but a normal human being would have written "She stuck out her tongue as if she were eight years old." Then again, a normal human being wouldn't find it that funny to suggest they were crying from laughing so hard.

I read that statement many times and finally did see that thought within that abortion of a sentence.

That sentence never developed far enough to be considered for an abortion. It was more like a late period with a little bit bigger clumps being passed.
