No one needs more than 640k.

My first computer was a Sinclair ZX-81. It had 1K of RAM. You're out of your mind suggesting I need up to 640 ZX-81 computers' worth of RAM. Silly bird.

My Color Computer II had 16k of RAM.

16K

Eat it.

My ZX-81 had FAST mode which clocked its Z-80 at 4 times the CoCo's MC6809E clock speed. I also bought the 16K expansion pack for it shortly after so I matched you in RAM and beat you in clock speed.

People need to look beyond the specifications and actually go and understand how that technology is being used. That's the true test.

The typical Apple consumer can't be expected to do that anymore than people can be expected to question a narrative spoon fed to them. Ain't gonna happen. You need to understand your consumer, they're followers and compliant, they believe what they're told. They're virtue signalers.

Another crApple lie.

That's because macOS uses a huge swap on their overpriced SSDs.

The irony is that while using SSD swap space will function OK for most "I browse da intarwebs and send da emale", all that IO write has to be hell on SSD longevity.

That's exactly what happened with their M1 SSD and they had to disable/limit that feature, which turned their computer into snails.

The SSD in Mx series cannot be replaced... So if it stops working or dies, you're fucked.
