And yet people still buy Apple shit. I never bought a single Apple product

The only apple product I ever bought was the 1st ipad. It was purely out of a desire for the form factor device. I didn't do any retarded camping out or anything. My disappointment in the locked down environment and everything it failed to deliver was just beyond. I knew PC was better than Mac before then but their practices were just exponentially worse after that. Apple is a predatory monopoly that shouldn't have existed and wouldn't have if Bill Gates hadn't saved them.

I recently ran a test where I dug out a iPad (2nd gen) and an iPad Air (1st gen) both running very old versions of iOS and despite the 2nd gen iPad's age, it's battery has lasted over 2 months on airplane mode (with no usage) while the iPad Air lasted one month on airplane mode (with very minimal usage).

indeed, but it also shows they weren't doing as much slowing down in those iOS versions. they still run very snappy.

The only apple product I own is an IPad I was given free as a promo. To me they're for people who need simple.
