I just cut this loaf. It is the culmination of 6 or 8 months of work, practice, successes, failures. I knew I was getting very close for a few weeks now.

I'm very happy with this loaf, I'm not even sure if it could be any better. The flavor is excellent, the spring is perfect, the crumb is beautiful.

I wish I could give you all a slice of the heaven I have created!!

Thank you sir, and my condolences on your brother. It's sad to see a loved one slip away. I know how you feel, you just want to wrap a heavy chain around them and drag them back to reality but it rarely works.
