Agreed, it gives them a little cyanide immunity lol. But my dog gets apples in her dinner each evening. And my chickens get apples, too. I prefer to remove the seeds for them.

Just make sure to use a 304 steel tester (they come as wet stripes, like perfume testers) and change to different colors when the tested products contain toxic substances.

TO be fair, it would take a lot more seeds to poison you. But it could eventually cause tummy ache.

About 200 seeds or 40 apples according to the attached article. I personally wouldn't gamble with 50 seeds.
