From L to R: Sweet peppers, garlic, onions, spicy eggs, plain eggs

Pickling brine is these brought just to a boil to dissolve:

1c water 1c vinegar (white, cider, your choice. I used hwhite here) 2 T salt 1 T sugar (optional)

Scale that to however much pickling you want to do.

Added to most of the jars: Bay Leaf Peppercorns Pickling Spice Garlic clove

The spicy eggs have chili P, a dried arbol chili and cayenne

In a couple weeks they can be enjoyed

I'm inspired to pickle some eggs now, it has been years since I've done it.

I like the idea of the spicy eggs. I have not tried that. Need to give it a go.

I do like adding the red cabbage and/or beet to get the nice color.
