Chlorine flushed through the body. They use it in drinking wells all the time. Maybe the amount she used for entire well, and meat absorbs it. But it’s not entirely unsafe. It’s just kinda dumb. Can sail in salt water. Gives it some flavor. Or if you want to enjoy it. Soak in brine for 24h in fridge. Cl is unnecessary.
All of this is disgusting but I am now wondering what soaking in a weak bleach solution would do to meat? More tender or less tender? Although you would probably get some pretty rank tastes.
