Have you tried putting fresh ginger in it?

I used to do spinach, carrot and ginger, with whatever else was handy. The ginger would give it a good kick.

Regarding spinach, my juicer doesn’t do leafy greens well. But I eat a fair amount of spinach anyway.

Ooh, I have not. I have fresh ginger too. My juicer is a centrifugal type, so I don’t know how well it will process, however, I usually scrape the pulp and run it through a second time. Usually get another half cup of juice out of it. I’m gonna try ginger. Cool mang!

I have a Lexsun (a bit like this: https://grainmills.com.au/shop/juicers-and-blenders/electric-juicers/juicers-lexsun-juicers-de-luxe-do-9001-mk1-model/) cold press juicer, which handles that sort of stuff pretty well. Might want to cut it up fine, across the grain for your juicer I suppose?

You can also put in fresh tumeric, although I found that to taste mostly like dirt. But it's supposed to be good for you.

I gots celery, carrots, red bell pepper, Brussels sprouts, red beets, and the cut off tails of asparagus I cooked earlier. All good stuff. Sometimes I throw in a jalapeño. Other times some green onion.

I used to juice but then I realized it was easier to skip a step and cut out the juicer. Now I just take what you got there and eat that. It saves time.

There is no way in any day I can eat all those veggies. So, I juice them. Then, I eat vegetables for and or with lunch and dinner.

So is it better than V8?

V8 has toxic levels of sodium in it.

Oh, way better. FYI, stewed, or canned tomatoes, as what’s in V8, are way better for you then fresh. I don’t use either in my juicing, but canned tomatoes have a much higher lycopene value than fresh. It’s something that happens when you cook them. The juice I make is very tasty too.
