I'm not downing anyone who eats them, but I just can't get into avocados. I do use avocado oil for cooking and stock up on it because it is high in calories and nutrition in case of emergency rations. I just don't like the texture and stuff and I don't know anyone who does personally. What is the best way to put it in a meal and enjoy it in that manner? Any really good health benefits from fresh avocado or cooked avocado that I can't get from anything else?
There is a very short period of time to eat them between not ripe and too ripe.
I like em as close to firm and ripe enough at the same time. Not ripe enough and it's too hard and chunky.
I'ld try a slice on a burger and see what ya think.
As far as nutrition that is not available anywhere else, idk. I do know they are good for ya and nutritious. I don't remember the stats though. Many high in anti oxidents.. I forget..
