Traditional stuff on Christmas. I think a turkey is in planning. I've been asked to make a traditional dessert called pignolata. Experience has shown that I need to quadruple the recipe because people hork that stuff down all day.
Awe that reminds me.. I ain't goona get any cannibal sandwiches this year Christmas Eve. It's just me and I'm on a budget so it's a no go.
Maybe on new years eve..

Many of my old friends call me by that name, because I won a Tom Sellek look alike contest when I was in my 20's.
Alright. Too bad for me then. I just meet a young woman that by that complete name..

I'll do that later on in a few days. Not new years either.. I'll do it on a nothing day.
This year we're making a shit ton of appies and desserts and gorging ourselves all day. Well, the normal people from our family are, the rest aren't getting together as per communist instructions.
Sounds legit.
So like thanks giving but with a tree and not a turkey. Been there seen that style before.
It like when you eat too much before the big dinner so you spoil your appetite, but on purpose.
A leg of lamb. Roast turkey. Spanish peppers. Potatoes dauphinoise. Brown bread and smoked salmon. Banoffee pie.
Wow that seems like fucking nothing when I list it out.

Roughly how many does that feed, Or how many days do you have left overs?
Traditional Chinese food at ours with all family for Christmas Eve. Just something Grandma always did, so we do it to. As for Christmas day, prime rib roast with all the fixin's. Then leftover prime rib sandwiches with au jus.
That is excellent!! I'm jelly..
Your going to have to DM a slice to me.
Mississippi pot roast with mashed potatoes and gravy from the drippings, and either asparagus or green beans. Irish cream pound cake for dessert.
I am most certainly going to have a pint of beer for dessert.
What is a mississippi style roast?
It's primarily different from other pot roasts in that you use pepperoncinis. It has this very unique, delicious flavor, entire family loves it. I like it so much that I make it on my birthday over going out to eat :).
Neat. Can I find a recipe or should I ask how many peppers to a pound of beef?
