My favorite weekend breakfast:
Weekend mornings I'll have some coffee and a small protein shake or a muffin. Once in a blue moon that gets switched out for a donut.
Proper breakfast is late morning, before I head out to do whatever it is that day.
It's a mix of good ingredients and swiftness of preparation, as I tend to wait until the tummy rumbles to occupy the kitchen, it gives a sense of purpose to the task.

The cook:
Heat the pan.
Slice and dice the sausage.
Oil the pan.
Grab a plate, a napkin, a fork and a spoon.
Drop the sausage in the pan and shake it until the cuts are coated in oil.
Grab a block of cheese and cut small chunks onto the plate.
Stir the sausage cuts.
Situational awareness check.
Drop the sausage cuts on the plate with the cheese chunks.
Crack three eggs on the remaining oil in the pan, top with lemon pepper (sometimes).
Grab a jar of salsa from the fridge.
Seperate the eggs in the pan with a spatula and give it a shake.
Grab some whipped butter if you have it.
Flip the eggs before they cook through and turn off the heat.
Drop the overeasy eggs on the plate of meat and cheese bits, then spoon a bit of cold salsa on each yolk so they don't solidify.
Dab some whipped butter onto the corners of the plate.
Get a beverage and dig in.
The salsa breaks up the egg yolk a bit, and makes a sauce with little bits of butter mixed in.
