A little point that is rarely noted when they bring up the asbestos subject. All of the structural members were covered in asbestos because it is a.... fire retardant. That's what made the removal so cost prohibitive. That asbestos was not accounted for in the official narrative but would have made a significant difference in the heat going into the structural steel.
