Every software company with an offering from an alarm clock to finance management has an AI program they want you to try. I've never seen so many companies try so hard to "enhance" the user experience at no or minimal additional cost. Doesn't make any sense until you consider ... you just gave it access to every bit of your data to use it.

I shun AI like Mormons shun coffee, it only feeds the devil.

When I was a kid in the '80s we had a chatbot called Eliza and I loved getting it tangled up in it's own logic to make it insult itself and admit it didn't really know anything.

My Windows machine recently installed Copilot without my authorization. I punted that bitch faster than I could blink twice.
