Probably fake and gay, but bot accounts are nothing new. Training a machine learning algorithm on a dead person's social media history might not be as effective because (a) there probably isn't that much data to train on and (b) it's unlikely that a dead person suddenly still "posting" wouldn't become obvious in a second.

It's not beyond the scope of possibility when you really think about it. It's being developed now so it isn't for today's day and age. Imagine in a not so distant future. Once you're walled off in 15 minute districts, if there were an uprising it would be easily contained. In smart cities they'd have plenty of your voice patterns on record so AI could even simulate your voice. Since your whole life will be recorded in every detail there will be plenty of info to create a perfect facsimile of a person.
Or worse - all your actual social media activity is simply dead-ended - and AI is curating, composing and engaging with others on your behalf.
I hadn't even thought of that! Damn, I hate technology.
