Because all satellites are attached to balloons, and not flying at 7,000 MPH like they tell us. To believe in a "spy balloon" is to believe that there is a difference between a "spy balloon" and a typical satellite.

It's all about enforcing a belief by convincing the masses they're "seeing through the lies"
