I wouldn't say that I don't care about the fed act or women's suffrage or civil rights gaslighting etc. just because it wasn't during my time.
Those things are still relevant because they were not merely a part of the pop culture. The effects of the (((Federal Reserve Act of 1913))), the passing of (((women's suffrage))) and the (((civil rights act))) are still affecting us in major ways today despite them being from an earlier time. No legislation that I am aware of came to be because of the (((Beatles))).
It doesn't have to be legislation to have a lasting negative impact though.
Henry Ford upbraids jazz and its impact on society, that was just a cultural thing but weighty in the attempt to degrade, etc.
I get your point though.
