It seems weird because it is unfamiliar. Once you notice that many of the things you consider to be hyperbole or outright fiction are entirely true you start to become skeptical about everything.

Oh totally! Many things posted on here like orgone etc i first heard about on that site. Orgone is still weird tho.

Love these old websites. Boy in the early 2000s late 1990s this is what the internet was and quite frankly it was much more intriguing and much more interesting and much more informative than what the internet is today. And there's nothing better than an old pure HTML site with no JavaScript and no other crap.

I agree to a point & have an example. Usually when I look to answer a complicated question using a browser, I am quite often directed to a blog post or question/answer forum from early 00's.

Holy god! I remember this site, if I remember correctly I actually signed in with my exite e-mail. (yep I am that old) edit: Ooops, it wasn't this site, but damn it looks familiar, I am going to have to get my old HHD and see if i can find the original I am thinking of.
