Yes, in fact it's old news. Which is what makes the "Humans Next?" in the title not just unnecessary but more than a little idiotic. It's clearly only there to stir controversy where none exists.

An article about chipping pets -- which has been a 100% accepted thing for years -- being used as evidence that humans are next is moronic. Like OP.
