It was a shit time for many reasons. It's hard to believe that it was only 7 years after 9/11, when oil was below $20/brl and that was before the fracking boom.
I mean think about how much energy is used in a war, the fuel needed for logistics, for vehicles, supply chains, that's before even thinking about the cost in human lives and medical costs that entails. How do you pay for that besides taxing energy?
We could look at the slowing down of oil production, and the shuttering of the XL pipeline, in the US as preparation for war by progressives instead of a push to green energy. Now that's a good conspiracy.
Green energy is just their attempt at not having to pay the energy companies, we are paying for them so they don't have to. Think about how much energy is consumed by data centers, and how much energy it costs to trade all that data they're trafficking?
Imagine yourself as a greedy technocrat who is trying to make profit at the expense of the productive members of society? What better way to fund your propaganda hypnosis attempt, than to tax people for the energy it costs to put on that dazzling light show.
