Here is a news article regarding how much does it cost to run an electric car, and then they compare it by using $.18/KW as the cost basis. Let me tell you, unless you are way below the poverty line and this is the only electricity you use , ie you are homeless, there is no way in hell you are paying anywhere near that. If you are lucky you are going to be at .54, most likely .79 or higher.

This would be like everyone calculating cost to drive to work if gas was $.30 a gallon instead of 6 bucks.

They need us all imoblized , and making us walk is the way to do it. There is not a thing they do that isn't globohomo

If the liberals keep pushing electric cars on us, you all know what's going to happen, right? There will come a tipping point, when suddenly it is easy to find a charging station, but it is hard to locate a gas station. At that point, people will move over to electric like a herd of sheep. And it will massively hurt our economy. Everything the left proposes is designed to cripple our economy, have you noticed? Never mind that electric cars are far more polluting than gasoline-powered cars. The left is determined to push them down our throats, and there are not enough people trying to stop them.

i agree, however the grid would need a massive overhaul if only 10 percent of the vehicles were electric. its a pipe dream. all the gas burned in cars would essentially have to be used in new power plants and be transmitted on a much beefier grid.
