This is a retarded argument. Why can’t it be both? Why does “seven day” have to be seven days as we perceive it?

The original Hebrew word here means just about any unit of time. In which the context itself defines the unit of time. The same word can mean any unit of time, up to and including infinity. Only literalists, usually ignorant of the actual Hebrew definition, believe it means days in this context. The correct definition clearly means eras or epochs.
Also, the bible is a bit confusing on this, but it's clear that many peoples existed. But God created Man. In this case, Man means the Adamic bloodlines; who are Caucasians.
The Theory of Evolution, as provided by Darwin, has been pretty heavy beat up. And the Theory of Human Evolution has been all but completely destroyed.
The bible clearly says it is in fact both. That various peoples existed and that the line of Adam was created by God. Setting them (us) apart from the other peoples.

The issue with the Intelligent Design guys, IMOHO, is they are purposely put forward to gate keep and gas light in the Christian community. It locks people into a false timeline of roughly 8,000 years. Which can only lead people astray as the Great Flood, geologically confirmed as the Younger Dryas Event, took place roughly 11,800 years ago. Whereby Caucasians re-emerged from the Caucus Mountains (location of Mount Arrat, as stated in the Bible, and why Caucasians are named after their point of origin - Caucus Mountains). But these Christians are completely cut off from most of our ancient history, which makes them significantly easier to control and mislead.
