Never been one for me, maybe humans aren't all the same... Like you yourself have said.

If I know I will be a terrible parent, shouldn't there be some congrats of using the logical brain to override that instinct.

Man is programmed by instinct to fuck everything it sees, yet overcoming that is ok?

People couple and have children because of the instinct of procreation and protection of children. Without this instinct, human society would have ended centuries ago.

Not EVERYONE needs this for that system to work. Me not having kids is in no way harmful when the rest of my family has replaced everyone 2.5x over already.
