Are they real, verifiable things?
I remember in the 70s, there were hypodermic needles in every bit of candy you got from someone on halloween, it even came to the small town I lived in. None of it verifiable, of course, just "Random person attended random event at random store and received random candy with needle."
Then in the 80s, it was hypodermic needles in payphone coin return slots, all of them with an apparent self-replenishing note that stated "Welcome to the world of AIDS."
There was something in the 90s as well, but by then I quit paying attention to that kind of news.
At the Travis gig, they said it was someone sticking them with needles and the security guard claimed he was pricked too. In the UK it was supposedly a date rape drug being injected and (coincidentally) really left-wing woman were the victims and so blamed men. All very weird.
Interesting.
Needles with aids in movie theaters seats in the 90s. You sit down and get aids.
Unverifiable of course.
Hmm. I really can't remember, but that was probably one of them.
There was also when Seinfeld went to prison (SNL I believe) where another inmate got injected with aids blood.
