Yes, true that. The history of western medicine is full of stories where the cure was worse than the initial illness, then they covered it up and invented a cure for the cure with even worse effects. And they got used to cover everything up, and they bought the scientists who could spill the beans. That's why I have stopped listening to experts and started to reading the studies for myself. Very often I find the trick they used to get the desired results - scientists don't like to lie openly, they use statistics and study designs instead.
Many not-so western countries are dependent on western medicine, or they just get bribed. For example, Peru could decrease the C19 death rate by 80% by distributing ivermectin, then a new government got bribed and made ivermectin illegal, resulting in a high death rate again. Same with Tamil Nadu: while the rest of India lowered the death rate by ivermectin (that's why they vanished from the news), the governor of Tamil Nadu got bribed, made ivermectin illegal and distributed Remdesivir instead, and the death rate stayed high. But on the other side, there are small countries that can resist the pressure of the WHO, like Iraq or Bangladesh. High-quality trials out of small countries show what drugs work against C19.
Africa alone is the proof that antiparasitical drugs demolish all virulent diseases of coronavirus origin.
I would assume it is the healthy vitamin D level caused by enough sunlight, and the UV light killing airborne viruses. But I don't have the numbers.
South America also has similar sunlight levels, but does not have such widespread medicine usage. Indonesia the same.
