Jews must be asked if they repudiate Torah barbarism
Isn't eating any animal turning it into a sacrifice? Honest question.
Yeah kind of, but a sacrifice to what? Eating it is a sacrifice to keep you alive, what are all these wars in the world perpetuated by banks a sacrifice too?
A sacrifice to the eater. An argument could be made that plants are a sacrifice.
I would have to agree, plants were offered as sacrifice to gods so how is eating it any different?
You're correct, grain offerings were a thing.
The reason they were a thing is because the sacrifice was literally a sacrifice for someone to offer to a diety. They were literally giving up their food.
I think sacrificing something means taking it away from yourself. So immolating an animal you could've eaten.
They sacrifice goy children still. Goyim are literally cattle. So, animal sacrifice is still technically a thing.
