For sure she took some kind of knock to the face. No doubt about it, the 3 inch thick mask of make-up is hiding the bruising discoloring- bet if you scrubbed that shit off, you'd see *purple.* That could be from a punch or a good hard slap, but I've also seen people doing dumb shit like leaving a cabinet door open at head level, turning and walking right into it. Or hitting their face as they bend down to get into a car. Could be all kinds of explanations. That being said, there's an interesting pattern in the last ~10 presidents and their most visible cabinets. Specifically, Presidents always end up with some kind of injury a day or two after election. I believe there is some kind of hazing or something, and the fucker has to get clobbered. They probably beat the shit out of the torso, occasionally accidentally busting them in the head. It seriously seems like the people at the highest station of power in the USA (allegedly) have some kind of hazing, "jumped in" ritual or some shit. Or it's alllllll coincidence.
