I dont know how many mg you would have to take to get rid of leprosy because I haven’t researched leprosy at all. Ive just read that it inhibits the bacteria that causes leprosy pretty well. If I had to guess Id say you would want to use a similar dosing regimen to covid. Which would be around 18 mg a day for 4 or 5 days.
I took the stuff. It is supposed to taste like apples or banana or something. It tastes like a solvent. Bitter. But its no big deal. Im taking tagamet now because I have plantars warts and apparantly tagamet kills pappiloma virus. So we shall see. Also found out it inhibits small pox. Crazy huh? Should have been a pharmacist I guess.
I was writing a rather long response but the page refreshed and deleted all of my brilliant ramblings.
Tagamet/cimitidine is safe. It has been used for warts, and I know how to dose it. Im interested in seeing if it works well.
The amount of paste in the ivermectin tube is 6g but ivermectin is only 1.87% of that if you look on the box.
6 * 0.0187 = 112 mg which is the quantity of ivermectin in the entire tube.
Every notch on the plunger is 50 lbs worth of ivermectin or 4.5mg (typical dose is 0.2 mg / kg for humans and other mammals, it works out, I checked the math.)
So if you are ~ 200 lbs, you measure out 4 notches which would be one dose or 18 mg. Just round of to the nearest 50 lb increment.
If youve got the flu, you could take a dose a day for 2 to 5 days.
I would have to research if that would acheive a theraputic concentration for Mycobacterium leprae, but it might.
