I dont actually make content, I am just an Archivist. That said, I totally agree and found the text portions difficult since I usually wont stay looking at the screen. a note about my tactic and perspective.... How does a man speak, without saying his own name, showing his own face, and inevitably destroying his own ideas when he is destroyed for saying them? Simple. Use someone else's face. It works on so many levels: - able to speak, raise awareness as I see fit, zero responsibility, just words in the aether, free to be heard or ignored. - able to change my mind, if I am wrong, I can discover and admit it freely, as I have no real investment, only time, which I give freely to my kin - Autistic Comms, I'm basically speaking in image and videos, without speaking, and the crazy part is.... everyone understands what I'm saying when I speak that way. I often wonder if a species pre-cursor to telepathy, is memery. Not really, but its a fun idea. I'm a fan of communication, real talk and disruptive ideology. Give me a disruption over the maintenance of traditional values and all the irony that follows, thats a firefight I just cant resist. - I can *poof* at any time. Old internet rules, if I step on toes and shit gets real, I can back out and my smoldering deeds remain on the table. I can speak while silent. - Generally less likely to be accused of threatening someone, since I never said a thing. I realize, that you must be able to see by now from my reply, that I am using many of the tactics used by evil men. I confess, this is true. You cannot fight fair and expect to affect someone who doesnt. I will happily pick up the enemies gun and shoot at him with it. I'd also like to state, that I have no delusion of grandeur, I am well aware of how inconsequential these actions *USUALLY* are. HOWEVER, losing a fight, is not a good reason to stop swinging. Besides, once the world shut down and I no longer had any choice but to hermit it up, who gives a shit? We've lost EVERYTHING already. Damn the torpedoes. Who cares if madmen call us crazy? Mad Malloy posted some Max Igan yesterday and there was a quote in there: "you cant say nothing, because if you say nothing you become part of the problem".... I find this concept most agreeable.
