So why can't we see the mighty ice wall? We should be able to since there wouldn't be any obstructions in most coastal locations. Seems like the top of South America or Africa would be ideal spots to see the ice wall. Where are all the pictures of the ice wall?
All I can speak to is the obvious physical anomaly, which are observable and results are repeatable easily by others. I've seen the Chicago bit with my own eyes from the beach, can't speak to the other islands personally or some retaining ice wall, but I believe the measurements are sound and there's a reason banned personal exploration of Antarctica is the ONLY international agreement with any teeth.
Well you might have convinced me that there might be something to the Earth being 'flat', but the lack of ice wall evidence really didn't change my mind.
I suppose an experiment might be to launch a balloon far far in the south like New Zealand as far down as you can go and try to make observations with a telescope from the highest clear vantage point (some miles high). That's how you'll get the best perspective and acuity that our eyes can see and have best resolution for the telescope looking over nothing but ocean. But if you can do this, then have a big boat and conduct the experiment even further south, but I'd wager it might get hustled by the powers that should not be.
