Public companies have shares, they(VG) own majority of public shares, AND, private shares. Which means the owners of those index funds(all Bilderberg attendees) have controlling stakes in those companies. Seeing as these big tech companies follow the same marching orders shows they're inextricably linked. Thus it's safe to assume VG has direct influence on the policies of these companies.
