So, if all the stars are spinning around the central (north) pole, the southern stars appearing to go backwards could be an optical illusion.
The earth though, and all it’s waters, are flat.
Interesting. I would love to see a 3d model of that. The jeranism guy has lots of videos. Still wonder can Australians see the north star?
Australians can NOT see the northern star and that’s due to perspective not because Australians are upside down.
As for things spinning counter clock wise in Australia it’s a myth and has to do with perspective. There’s been multiple videos shown of the stars rotating clock wise and counter clockwise in Australia depending on how you are looking at them.
Case in point, take a ceiling fan and turn it on. If you look at it from one direction it’s spinning clockwise however if you walk to the opposite side it looks like it’s spinning counter clockwise.
According to the flat earth model Australia is on the outer edge of the flat earth so it would look like it’s spinning counter clock wise because you are on the opposite side, looking to the middle. Just like in the ceiling fan example
Australians can NOT see the northern star and that’s due to perspective not because Australians are upside down.
Could you explain the perspective?. I dont understand that at all. I wish there was a 3d video model or something.
Nope! Due south from the southern cross is the ‘south celestial pole’ which is what the star trails in photographs appear to be circling.
