While the 4G network uses under 6 gigahertz (GHz) on the radio frequency spectrum, 5G will occupy from 30 GHz to 300 GHz, which are shorter millimeter wavelengths.

You guys need to understand the 5G scaremongering originates from China. China is hoping to slow adoption to get their spy hardware installed as they are currently excluded from spying on Americans (enter zoom and tic tok).

Secondly, the quote above is purposely misleading. Currently, ALL 5G deployments are using wifi adjacent frequencies. Literally, all claiming 5G is injuring them are also claiming wifi is injuring them. It's simply not true. Decades of data supports this.

Thirdly, globally, no 5G deployments are using the very high frequencies. None. Zero. This is why performance claims have been lackluster. The very high frequencies are used for backhaul (tower to tower communication). Currently all carriers are using pre-existing microwave trancievers. Which is why performance isn't jumping upward to match marketing claims. It is, however, improving concurrency, which is a huge benefit to carriers and customers.

Backhaul simply points to other towers and never at people. Which means, if 5G is dangerous to you, we need to know why you climbed a tower and then suspended yourself in front of a transceiver? Don't do this. It's also illegal for a tower to operate with someone in these zones. Meaning it is dangerous, but you are purposely exposing yourself, creating a danger to you.

Part of the 5G specification are much larger exclusion zones. Also included is beam steering. This feature alone means reduced RF over 4G.

Here's the thing. 5G's RF is more easily attenuated in the atmosphere. So TX power is increased at the tower. Thus the larger exclusion zones; and improved safety for workers. However, because of attenuation, the power level at the RX side is equal or less than that of 4G. And because of beam steering, fewer errors and higher data rates means less RF exposure on the RX side (that's you). By definition this means 5G is objectively safer than 4G.

So it sounds like you'll welcome the rollout. Are you good with the IOT too?

Indifferent is more accurate.

IoT is a huge buzzword which means many things. Please define.

Look up the definition yourself, kinda busy here.
