If they made wind turbines out of natural wood and cotton cloth, it would be much more sustainable. However, the generator still poses a problem. I can't get wooden stator and natural fibre windings to generate any electricity. Am I missing something here?

A wind turbine should weigh like 3 tons max, be made of a steel structure, steel framed aluminum blades and require extremely minimal lube.
