What say you crazy super-hot pepper guys?

From the post: "FORT MILL, S.C. — Ed Currie, the South Carolina hot pepper expert who crossbred and grew the Carolina Reaper that’s hotter than most pepper sprays police use to subdue unruly criminals, has broken his own world record with a pepper that’s three times hotter.

Pepper X was publicly named the hottest pepper in the world on Oct. 9 by the Guinness Book of World Records, beating out the Reaper in Currie’s decade-long hunt to perfect a pepper that he says provides “immediate, brutal heat.”"

Yeah, I read the part about not releasing seeds atm and I don't blame him but it would be cool to grow one yourself. I have an indoor hydro setup for basic veggies & stuff year round and its done a pretty good job with sweet peppers and jalapeños. Im not into the super hot stuff but I have been able to handle up to ghost-pepper levels.

Ill be interested in reading a post about this stuff used in sauces though and the possible medical uses since ive read a bit on how super hot peppers have been used in the medical field. I think I read somewhere that the stuff that makes "icey hot", "hot" is capsaicin.
