I do not typically have 'others'' bottled sauces any longer, but sometimes, it's worth it and this sauce is one. El Yucateco is a great brand that sticks with one of the best tasting and versatile chile's: the Habanero. The Black Label is a smoked Habanero sauce, and that is why it's one of my favorites. I smoke my own and I toast peppers for consumé, but this adds a little bit more smokiness, tanginess, and bitterness to whatever you're doing. Since it's a garden-variety habanero, I would give this a 6, 000 SHU rating; a Mild sauce.

Ingredients:

Water; Habanero Peppers; Salt; Citric Acid; Acetic Acid; Xanthan Gum; Garlic; Onion Powder; and Sodium Benzoate

Thank you again for the recommendation. We got our combo bottle set and I've tried three so far. Holy smokes they are good. I look forward to trying the rest and making some review posts on them.

who is the manufacturer or is it a grab-bag of manufactures - I am curious.

I have many more lined up for review posting, but haven't had much time - I also have my smoked peppers to post for y'all to see what and how I do my prep.

thanks for the recommendation, wife just bought a 5 bottle combo set from amazon for 23 bucks. dont know whether we've had el yukateco before but we think its new for us
