They are getting scarce especially after they came out with those SID sound cards (en.wikipedia.org) in the early oughts. People would just grab a board and pull the SID and chuck the rest. There are modern replacements for the PLA (primary logic array) and 7502s and some SID knockoffs but for the rest the only option is an original.
