Damned right, the trash 80 (you're probably pretty old if you know that name) has the best version of Zork.
I used to dial in to the university with my TRS-80. I still have the acoustic coupler (cradle MODEM) for it. Alas, I only have the one that came from RadioShack. It sucked and I spent an ungodly amount of money to buy one from Hayes (? it was a long time ago) but that's long since gone missing.

We didn't have those at the university, that I know of. There might have been something like that in the computer lab, but I was in the math department more often than not.
