Once it's left your possession, it's out of your control. Don't like it? Tough. Your government will send men with weapons to make you pay if they can't simply take it from your bank accounts or paycheck before you see it. The best way to make sure your tax tribute isn't wasted is to find ways of being productive which the government cannot extract tribute from you to begin with.
