Pilot data showed the screens resulting in more than a 5% incremental sales jump
I bet it was niggers. How stupid do you need to be to influenced by an ad on a cooler door? Nigger stupid. I would find it rather annoying and would likely avoid the store.
Kroger “didn’t give a f--- about Walgreens,”
I agree with Kroger.
Used to trade Walgreens' stock. They actually jumped up quite a bit recently, but I didn't get in on that.
A lot of people are susceptible to advertising. I can't count how many people I see just in rapt attention to that crap on gas pump screens. It's like they're a zombie that is stopped by video...just no movement at all.
Protip: if you mash the screen buttons enough it will kill the audio.
No need to mash. Usually it's the second down on the right.
I can't hear well anyway, to me it sounds like mush.
I don't even understand how people notice it at all. It's become second nature for me to ignore any of that noise.
They actually jumped up quite a bit recently
So did GameStop a few years back... doesn't mean it's a good idea
I don't get the people who still think GameStop is a good stock to own. If you got in on the epic short squeeze that is truly awesome, but I don't see what there is to like about the company.
It's not just investors who don't see the point of them anymore. Gamers have by and large turned their backs on them due to extremely predatory practices and price gouging. I can't even remember the last time I stepped foot in one. I have a feeling that my Switch is gonna be the last console that I own. I outgrew dedicated consoles over a decade ago but have been in denial about it. PC only for me now. I have a feeling that with hardware like steamdeck, I'm not the only one who will be following this shift.
