On a serious note, we need to stop relying on cheap Chinese shit. I was telling my friend that, yea, I buy a lot Chinese shit because I simply can't source US electronic components. Given semiconductor automation today, there's little reason to produce semiconductor components in China anymore. There's very little human hands on production anymore.

I know, it's disheartening to pick up a pack of Vishay or Dale parts and see "Made in China" - and still be paying the USA price for it.

Until the bigger hammer rattles the cage, these companies aren't going to change.
